Dear diary,
It’s Merdeka Eve. Went for a movie date in Cathay Cineleisure – ‘You Don’t Mess With the Zohan.’

I fall asleep halfway-through. sighs. Is it the movie? Or is it me?
I seriously think that I have a problem watching night movies. out of 10, i sleep through 9.
But, the movie is not a great one though!
I thought it was quite funny at some parts but most of the time, the acting is a bit too exaggerated! i don’t know, i wasn’t entertained by it.
but i really love the fact that Emmanuelle Chriqui (Dalia) is damm hot!!! I like her bod, her smile, her tan, her sexy eyes, her everything.

told ya. sshe’s gorgeous!

this’s her in the movie.
Generally, it was a great fine night-out! Feels good to hang out; having someone to talk to; not feeling lonely; hungry – can just buy food; thirsty – can just buy Coke……
Also ,we had my favourite Macademia ice-cream from New Zealand’s Naturals.

When it’s nearly 12, there’s a huge crowd of Merdeka celebraters making up a quite nice high angle view from Cathay, overlooking ‘the Street’ of The curve.
just gotta say: thanks buddy for the great night.
btw, i bought September issue of ‘Hello’ Magazine. Because I wanna read about Naz (The Breakfast Show’s host) and Sheanee’s (NTV7 newscaster) Wedding; Brangelina’s new-born twins……

Dear diary,
I’m hungry! Hungry hungry hungry all the time!! it’s good that I can put on weight! but the downside is i’m gonna spend a fortune on food! it’s like i never had enough of food. give me food! and nice food, please.
It’s the final class of the semester-Law’s Lecture.
Really enjoyed the humourous traits of Mr. Jaharberdeen (our law’s lecturer)! and i guess i won’t get more of it in the future.
that’s sad.
it’s Friday evening. I feel like hanging out. I’m just not a home person, ain’t I?!
But, should I? Luna Bar? But there’s cover charge on a Friday’s night. i damm shit hate cover charges. A movie? But why don’t I just watch one at home? an extravagant dinner? But i don’t like to spend on food.
oh and I need a date!
i’m just being overly analytical, ain’t I?
screw it. i’ll just be a homey.
while cleaning my room days ago, i found this:

2 expired GSC vouchers! 26th August 08!!! WTF! why….
By the way, it’s
sunset; and it’s
raining. just like those romantic scenes from the movies. i can’t help but to snap pics of it again.
oopps, hope you’re not bored yet.

Dear diary,
I trimmed my fringe again.
I don’t know how I have the guts to try a fringe like this:

Perhaps i’m just yearning for a revolution.

Dear diary,
‘The Last Lecture‘ by Randy Pausch was aired during Media Ethics lecture today.
“Just be happy and dreams will come to you.”
True enough. All I can say is: Randy Pausch was inspiring!
Sometimes…I tried too hard in my life. that i forgot what’s happiness. and then i got so stuck up. so lost and eventually lost myself.
Just in case you don’t know anything about Randy Pausch…Randy is an inspiration to many. He is a professor diagnosed with cancer and gave his last lecture in a university on year 2007 before his death on 25th July 08.
It’s dusk. I just had my dinner. The view of sunset outside my window is terrific!! I love watching night-fall, when lights go on but sky not entirely dark. It’s beautiful but brief. all i can do is to capture the momment by taking a photo. and that explains why i’m so +ve about photography….
…because i want to keep the world still for a momment.

Dear diary,
3 fighter jets flew past my window. Merdeka is 3 days away.
i really feel the “significance” of it – KL terribly jam-up lately coz of the rehearsals.
Now that my sis have gone back, assignment is all-over, Final exam is 1 and a half week away. It always happens like this – when I’m busy I’m darn busy; when I’m free I’m darn free.
Traditionally, my fresh start of revision is to…..spring-clean my room. Because I love to study and make notes in a neat and nice environment.
Now the visible areas are cleaned. I even restructure my wardrobe and dressing area.
and found these (my new additions) that I wanna make a comment about:

Skin Food Peach Sake Pore-Serum RM59.90
-it’s to reduce oil-secretion on face, good for sensitive and oily skin.
I’ve been using it for app. 3 weeks. i shared with my sis. it does magics! by the end of the day, my face is not that greasy anymore. and eventually help reduces acne. less oil, less acne. kononnya it’s one of Skin food most popular product.

Red Earth Secret Potion RM79.90
-used prior/with liquid foundation. it’s to add glow to your face. best for on-screen make-up.
I found this very useful especially for events, functions and shooting. It makes your face looks dewy with a mysterious bronze glow. just like the stars! and it’s natural! the downside of it is, feels oily if u applied too big a portion. just put on a lil’ will do!

Red Earth Mineral Loose Powder RM 40 to 50 sorta forgot the price.
-bad bad bad. don’t like this. it’s too light & mild. can’t see the difference at all after applying it. regretted this buy. but, never try never know.

Clinique Refining Serum.
-night serum used to minimize pores.
besides buying this, i also bought the pore-refining mask and scrub.
it don’t really works! Clinique sux. expensive yet lousy.

my favourite products!
Vichy Anti-Imperfection Moisturizer and Vichy Thermal Spa. price: not cheap but reasonable. Kononnya, the green one have won popularity awards from Cleo Mag before.
I’ve been using it for close to a year, i think it really works!
Thermal spa is a kinda mist that you spray on your face after applying facial care products. it helps ur skin to absorb the essences.
my sis have started using it. and it works for her too!

Dear diary,
Last weekend, my sis bought me a pair of Sennheiser headphones (HD 201).
It’s RM110. If you love music, you should really get a good pair of earphones.
I heard that Sennheiser have the best headphones.
The model I picked has got good attenuation of ambient noise, good stereo sound and it’s light!
But, it’s not very good at its bass. I’ve high expectation for bass…coz techno is one of my favourite music genre.
Generally, i love it!
and I love you sis! thanks!!

miss u much…..

Dear diary,
My sis departed to HK on 9:15 this morning.
I really hate tearful farewell like this!
It has been 12 hours after her departure; I haven’t get her call yet. How’s she doing right now? Is everything fine? I miss her so much right now…
After sending my sis off, I rushed to PJ for classes, not because I’m so eager to attend them. I just don’t want to be alone. ‘Classes’ is the best avoidance.
After classes, I lingered around PJ and do-up whatever needed to be done; just to avoid getting home.
I’d lunch with friends; get my fringe trimmed in Kimarie PJ; went to the bank; went to the cobbler; went to the pharmacy etc.
Eventually, it’s time to get home.
The house is so quiet without her existence. When I peep into her room, it’s empty. it’s a sad feeling. I’m just not in the mood for anything right now.

Dear diary,
Sat 12 noon, I get a phone call, asking me to emcee for a fashion show in One-U. their emcee can’t make it last minute. thnx to FL for this opportunity. i really appreciated it.
I’m expected to reach the location ASAP with clothes and make-up all ready on my own. Show starts on 1pm. i can’t even breath properly at that momment.
in less than 15 minutes time, professionals styled my hair and touch-up my make-up while the PIC briefed me through the script.
then, it’s show time. with a script that I only go through once. i delivered it …. i don’t know. it just happened too fast.
Hence, I’m stucked in one-u for the whole day for 3 sessions of the fashion show: 1pm, 3pm, 5pm.
everything happened so speedily. I didn’t manage to pause and realize what’s going on.

until now. i felt like it’s a dream. not the fairytale kinda dream; it’s the reality kinda dream. I realized, I need to work harder to polish my flaws. i’m not at my best yet. appearance is one of them.
The models are gorgeous and glamourous. tall and slim. confident and… they’re just perfect.
and that makes me feel imperfect about myself.
above all, i know myself more. this is my passion. i really loved it so much.
my prayers are answered.
Evening, i attended family dinner. it’s our family’s tradition to always have a reunion (just like those during chinese new year) before my sis leave for overseas. afterall, she’s just back once a year.
Later that night, we meet up with our posh aunt in Sid’s Pub, TTDI. it’s a British Pub.
I had Snakebite (it’s Ribena + Beer) . Priced RM25. what makes it so expensive. konon-nya it’s the very unique beer they use. but i think it tastes normal only.
Also had a taste of Blackthorn Cider. Nice~
