Home Alone

Dear diary,
It’s a hot Saturday afternoon!
I haven’t had any meals. not feeling hungry though.
just feeling a bit lonely and lethargic. (home alone)
i wanted to go out for a meal, do-up my piled assignment or goto the PC Fair. but i forbid myself from such weekend activities for the sake of my piano exam.
i just have to practice the piano all day long. it’s 4 days away.
i just wish it’s either over or at least 3 months before it.
i’m not a last minute person.
I’m sure once it’s over, I will laugh at myself for making a big fuss over it. it’s really no big deal! it’s just an exam. be it pass or fail.
but stress just fall on you because you care so much that you lost your rationalness and turn emotional.
Yesterday, i was busy working on live show stuff.
it’s 2 weeks away to full dress rehearsal and 3 weeks away to actual live show.
now it’s pretty much the pre-production stage.
yesterday was like:
at first, it was pre-work in the live studio – then an aggressive meeting – shooting for outdoor footages – and then indoor footages.
the schedule was so tight. me and my media ethics team-mates were so devoted to the show and we merely had time to have our discussion as planned earlier.
’shooting’ somehow tests your physical endurance. especially on a hot afternoon.
tested – and i’m fine.
i did hosting for my very first time. it was not easy. especially when it was not scripted and so spontaneous.
i think i didn’t do my best. i was so nervous, so stressed, was so worry about me delaying the schedule. etc.
Especially the last segment of the shoot where the air-cond and fan are switched off for audio sake and everybody were staring at me, waiting for me to finish my lines fast and perfect so that we can wrap.phiew~ delivered the lines eventually. thank God!
but guess what? I seriously enjoyed hosting very much despite learning more of my weaknesses.
Basically, everyone seem like they enjoyed the production too! that was the greatest part.
i felt that cosplay is such an interesting topic to work on! met Deru, our ‘master’ of cosplay makeover. she was in the Honey Sempai’s outfit. so cuteee!
anyways, i am thankful for given a chance to learn. i appreciated it very much.
