Dear diary,
If I’m a celebrity, I would probably wear shades everywhere I go – and always remain cool with minimal smile:

Recording music in audio labs that look like this:
…and dining in classy restaurants like this…

…probably being on stage all the time…

..also havin’ my make-up being taken care of…

…probably have to go-through long hours of studio recording too…
Ah, life as a celebrity ! Glam!
Maxis Broadband Music Bash Costume Party happening this Saturday @ Maison!
Will have a chance to dress up as a celebrity. But, I haven’t decided on my costume yet. Am running out of time! help!
What celebrity will you be that night?

Steal her look!
truly a star.
or maybe can try being Marilyn Monroe for a night.
Come join the fun! See you there!

Dear diary,
On Saturday, I attended the Nuffnang DiGi MSN launch @Friendster Cafe.
Met a lot of cool people during the event!
The best part is being able to discover the mobile MSN by DiGi! Go check it out man!
The event was great too! It’s a combi of good food, free-flow of booze, jokes by the hilarious emcee and fun games!
They have this cool big MSN board where all bloggers have to ’sign-in’.

Me, signing in.
Huai Bin, Me & Cindy
Work could be quite fun being able to attend events like this!

Dear diary,
It was Friday night, i thought of having something good for dinner.
Korean food is my next favourite after Jap food.
Hence, I went to this Korean Restaurant called Da Ga (大家) in Solaris Mt Kiara.

Me looking tired after work.
I’ve tried many outlets, this was my 6th. Unlike Jap food, you know where to go for the best ones. But Korean Restaurants are quite hard to differentiate.
This time round, I didn’t opt for the BBQ stuff, just ordered a Kimchi Soup + rice. Along with that, they served little dishes of appetizers (kimchi, ikan bilis etc) which taste fabulous!
In some other outlets I’ve been to, these little dishes’ve got unlimited free refills, but for this particular outlet, they limit you to only refill 3 dishes per customer.
So far, I still think Ampang ones are the best – reason being it’s cheaper and tastes better.

Dear diary,
On one of the weekends, I managed to meet up with a dear friend before she jet-off. She’s currently studying music in Beijing. It’s nice to talk to her, she’s very insightful about classical music – one of the things that interest me!

Smile!
We strolled along the paths of Desa Parkcity, took some photos and had some cakes & drinks in Secret Recipe.

I love cinematic wide shots like this.
It drizzled while we were at the park.
Peach Cream Cake – rate: 1/10

You and your natural smile!
I miss you already. Looking forward to your next trip back!

Dear diary,
“I’m very happy, but I’m not telling why.”
That’s Jessica Michibata’s facebook status when she started to date Formula One driver Jenson Button.

She’s a beauty!

Dear diary,
It has been an eventful week! (slightly outdated-post)
Last Saturday, I was at Nuffnang Sharing Session in The Apartment, Downtown KLCC.

All of us
Pic grabbed frm sixthseal.com
Nice ambient, nice food, nice people.
***
On Tuesday after work, the nuffies were invited to be the judges for TGIF Madigras.
We went to 4 different branches of TGIF (respectively Pavilion, Life Centre, PJ SS14 and Sri Hartamas) to evaluate their decoration & relevance to the theme – Madigras.
Among the 4, Sri Hartamas won!!

Our last stop of the night –
Sri Hartamas
Throughout the night, we had complimentary dinner and drinks! TQ!
It was a fun experience!
***
Wednesday, I visited The Tavern, an in-house pub of the GAB Factory. We had free flow of Extra Cold Heineken that night. The Tavern is a very cosy pub…with dim tungsten lights, wooden floorings etc.
“Tavern” has a meaning on its own:
tav·ern
| n. An establishment licensed to sell alcoholic beverages to be consumed on the premises. |
| I thought it’s a great name for a pub!
|
During the event, I met-up with fellow bloggers - kennysia, jadezheng, sixthseal, ky, melissa, thatgirlcynthia, simonseow, Tock, shaolintiger, fourfeetnine etc.
Also met up with clients, people from the industry & GAB people.
My colleagues Robb,Tim,Shalyn and Sue were there too.
It was a great experience as I learnt how to fill a glass of beer from the tap. It’s not easy at all!
***
Thursday, we had lunch in ‘Magnificent Fish n Chips’, Changkat Bukit Bintang.

Over-looking the bar
The lunch money goes to charity. Boss Tim took-care of the bill. TQ!

Charity

Butterfish

Medialicious Cocktail
Events are quite fun in a way, especially the part of being exposed to various fresh n fun ideas!

Dear Diary,
I’m clueless about Dragonball! I wonder what does kame hame ha means…

my super fake ‘kame hame ha’
Maybe that’s because why I can’t wait to watch Dragonball! I’m curious how will the Dragonball’s characters look like when they’re real humans. The boy in the poster looks quite cute though!
Aww… the Nuffnang stickman turned into some Dragonball creature! Cuteness!

Dear diary,
My dinner tonight:
Nutella
It has been a long day!
I bought this cupcake from Bisou (Heritage Row) this afternoon. It supposed to be my tea-time snack but ended up as my dinner. It tastes quite good though! When you’re hungry, you just whack anything eatable.
Good Night!
