Dear diary,

Today Nicholas shared with us a very meaningful short film. If you have 12 minutes to spare, I really think you should watch this:

Short film has always been my passion and it will always be. Patrick Hughes, you’re just too talented!

That night in Mid Valley

Posted on May 26th, 2009 @ 8:00 am

Dear diary,

So the other day we spent 7 hours in Mid Valley. Other than movies and some casual shopping, we had dinner around 10pm in Delicious. They opened until midnight. Somehow Delicious seems like the hang-out place of hot chicks! Spotted a few! Btw I’m not talking about myself.

Thought of having something healthy, hence I ordered:

Roasted Tomato Brushetta

Caesar Salad with smoked Salmon

Surprisingly, the portions are quite big! Tastes good but I can’t finish the food because I under-estimated the portion. I have to say the Brushetta are damm good!

Bill came out to nearly hundred (2 pax only!), quite pricey!

I’ve a habit to think of things to celebrate if the meal came out pricey…because I think it’s not worth it to have extravagant dinners regularly.

Hence I told my mom: “We’ve to think of something that we’re celebrating in conjunction to this meal.”

Then I followed by saying :”What about Father’s Day!”

She answered :”Naughty girl, I don’t see your dad having dinner with us here!”

That’s true, I was just kidding, will plan something for you daddy!

Errhh… what about my sister’s last year’s birthday celebration?

She’s not here either. lol.

Weekends

Typical Weekend

Posted on May 24th, 2009 @ 10:25 pm

Dear diary,

It’s a Sunday morning! I planned to wake up earlier to practice piano but by the time I’m awake, it’s nearly 12 noon already. :( It’s pay-back time – not getting enough sleep for one whole week.

After reading suet li’s post on her London trip, it pretty much reminded of my trip few years ago. How nice during my uni times, can still afford to go overseas (i mean time wise). Come to think of it, time > money. You’ll need money to buy time. I really wish I can leave on a jet plane right now! But a bit worrying to take planes during this period of time due to the H1N1 crisis.

Okays, let’s talk about yesterday. I went to the dentist’s. Haven’t been to one in years, so thought it would be good to check-up. Dentist said my teeth are quite healthy except for some cavities. So he filled them up and the bill came out to be RM390! I’m very poor nowadays! *cries* Apparently my expenses > income. *stuggles*

Anyway, for the 390 i paid, I got a free gift from the dentist:

What a free gift!

After the dental appointment, I suddenly have the urge to go for movies.

So I dragged my mom along and watched “I love you,Man” @ Mid Valley.

Long queue for tickets! But the queue moved pretty fast probably because I’m constantly surfing on my iPhone and so it feels as if time flies. The good thing about iPhone.

Love watching movies with mom because I know she likes movies very much but this’s not a good movie to watch with mothers. In the movie, they talked a lot about sex and also used the word “f*ck” quite often. I’m absolutely fine with it but my mom’s not. Sigh, why’s she so conservative! But this’s Malaysian cinema, quite a number of those are censored. damm. But still I quite like it. The typical romance comedy; the funny parts are really funny. I like things that make me laugh.

And one thing that I wanna mention, Rashida Jones (as Zoey) is extremely gorgeous in the movie!

She looks very classy, very elegant especially in the bridal gown (the wedding scene in the movie)! ooops, spoiler.

So I went home and googled her name! And I found out that she graduated from Harvard! And is currently dating Obama’s speechwriter. Wow, brainy beauty!

Okays, it’s 10pm already, I think I better go get a bath!

Movie Wednesday!

Posted on May 23rd, 2009 @ 11:47 am

Dear diary,

I can’t believe it’s Saturday already! Time flies!

On Wednesday night, I attended Monsters vs Aliens 3D Screening.

I look quite tiny beside the poster.

I like the movie very much!! There’re funny parts that made me laugh. :D
And at least 2 hours to escape from real life! The 3D experience is good too!

I like B.O.B. very much. Although he look quite retarded but I think he is very cute when he smiles like this:

hahahaha.

Me and mother. Think it’s her first time watching a 3D movie.

It was a great movie night out, mom enjoyed it too!
