Ep3: Up North: The Finale
October 19th, 2009 @ 1:24 am
Dear diary,
So what else I did in Penang?!
Drink coconut juice!
There is this shop that sells coconut juice! RM1 for one! So cheap!! Confirmed cannot get stuff like this in KL.

a lot of coconuts for sale!

After that, Tim brought me to this place called Northam Beach Cafe!
It’s like a hawker stall but got seaview! We went there early in the evening….quite lucky to get a table by the sea.

It’s a nice cafe!
Ordered typical hawker stuff like…

Chicken Wings…

O-Jian… this’s damm good!!

Mua-chi … got a few flavours to choose from.
Then, the sun begun to set …
The view is amazing!!!!!!!!!

I didn’t photoshop the colour of this picture ok! The sky is orangy, like what you see in the picture! Nice right?
Too bad, camera died after snapping some pics! Luckily I got some pictures of the sunset as remembrance.
Don’t think the sunset will be this nice everyday….
This was actually the last day of me being in penang… then I took a flight back to KL the next morning.
Took MAS, cost me RM113. But quite a pleasant flight, no complains. Main intention is to skip the Raya jam.

Guess what’s that!!
Was by myself during my flight back…there’s this Westerner that sat beside me. He’s so kind to help me carry my bag down from the top compartment when arrived in KL. Didn’t know that kind people like this still exists!
The journey was short, 45 mins and I’m in KL! Took KLIA Express to the city. That’s my first time, just wanna experiment it. Only 30 mins and I’m in town.
But a bit pricey, RM35 for one way.

All in all, it was quite a good trip! Thanks tim & his family for the hospitality! * big wide smile *
