Dear diary,

I vividly remember, one of the sluggish weekends of March, I caught a flu bug and was feeling sick and weak.

Just so happen that it was the eventful weekend of Guinness St. Patrick, Hot Air Balloon Fiesta and work wise, it was the crucial week of pre-pit stop event.

I’ve missed all those, except I was adamant enough, to drag myself to the Hot Air Balloon Fiesta, because I really didn’t want to miss the photo-opt of this annual outdoor carnival.

But in fact, I missed the photo opt because I was there nearly noon and the crews were already dismantling the balloons.

In the midst of this halt and disappointment, I managed to capture a cropped, faded red-blue hot air balloon.

A noteworthy perspective.

Dear diary,

It was a lovely Saturday morning, I woke up to the sounds of chirping birds outside my window.

Grabbed my DSLR and off I went to the park, spontaneously.

I really don’t mind sacrificing some sleep for the park, coming to know that, it’s all worth it.

The scenery was amazing, even better when coupled with the balmy morning breeze and almost perfect along with the restful ambiance.

A good way to unwind from the hectic weekdays.

We found a spot by the lake, beside the bamboo trees. Sat right there for the next 1 hour, reading up my novel by Xiaolu Guo . And you, reading your e-news on your blackberry.

During one of the weekends, I went to Sunway Lagoon.

Won some free tickets through Project Alpha!

Scream Park is quite scary (for my level). Got live actors to scare you. Sometimes I’m really startled until I almost punch them (natural reflex).

But after a while, it’s not so scary anymore. Same tricks throughout. Boo!

Wildlife Park is not too bad ….i took a lot of pictures of the birds…

They just fly above your head…

So fierce, I thought it’s gonna fly towards me and attack me.

Hornbill …. the birds are really nice, all very well-maintained!

Some cute creature, I forgot what it’s called.

Wave pool is nice, the water is warm! No pictures of wet park because we were all wet so we locked our stuff in the locker.

All in all, the theme park is not too impressive but ya, it was a fun weekend that I wanna remember.
