Dear diary,
Last weekend I bought tickets to watch Bobby Chen perform in the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra.
happy face.
I love all things piano and he was absolutely great performing on the Steinway and Sons (or was it Wagner?) grand. My seat was too high up in the Upper Circle so that I could catch the overview of the full orchestra but that just means I can’t see the brand on the piano.
a brief moment with bobby after the show. ♥
I was very much inspired by his performance and the talent (or hard work) he holds. The passion the intensity the slightest detail, I could absolutely connect with his emotions, for that 20 minutes or so. His appearance was just that short bit and the rest of time, we reveled in the spectacular Suite From Porgy and Bess, An American in Paris and a couple of other orchestra pieces. The awesome music made me felt as though I’m in seventh heaven.
classical music enthusiasts
totally love Dawson’s red shawl.
Later on we had drinks in Quattro, putting a great end to the already fabulous night. It was funny how there was rain indoors in the Spring theme eatery. Music and dance floor madness in Autumn was absolutely memorable.
Certainly a great night out! At least one good night after too many seemingly bad ones.
